About the Role: As a Nurse Educator at Sinai Hospital, under limited supervision, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates education programs for the Women’s Service line based on adult learning principles, in alignment with ANA Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: · Develops and evaluates education programs for the Women’s Service line using adult learning principles and professional development standards. · Provides leadership, support, and supervision for staff in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and Lactation departments. · Collaborates on and supports hospital-wide education initiatives and service line-specific training efforts. Requirements: Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Master’s degree required or enrollment in a Master’s program within two years of hire. Licensure:
Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license required; American Heart Association BLS required Certification:
National certification required (e.g., Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development, or ASTD); additional certifications as appropriate, including AHA ACLS, NRP, PALS, and corresponding Instructor certifications. Experience : 3–5 years of experience in a women’s acute care setting required; previous education or teaching experience preferred.
