What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex network solutions to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with the Security team to enforce security best practices across the organization
- Configure and maintain SD-WAN edge devices, gateways, and controllers to support dynamic traffic routing
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex network issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, SDN, and SD-WAN
- 10+ years of professional experience in Network Engineering
- 8+ years of experience with architecture and design
- Strong understanding of network security principles and compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive hands-on experience with network equipment and platforms from leading vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto Networks
- Proficiency in designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions
- Experience in open-source frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
