Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers. Summary: The Network Administrator will assist in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs various Tier I and Tier II service desk duties. Assist in the design, installation, and configuration of LAN/WAN infrastructure and network hardware. Support the maintenance and monitoring of network systems to ensure high availability and performance. Conduct network testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve connectivity or performance issues. Collaborate with senior network engineers and IT staff to implement network improvements and upgrades. Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams and configuration records. Provide technical support for network-related service requests and incidents. Participate in the evaluation of new networking technologies and tools. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Basic understanding of network protocols, routing and switching, and LAN/WAN technologies. Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Minimum Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. IAT Level II Certification Must have active TS/SCI Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience working in federal or defense environments. Industry standard technical and network certifications. #CJ Pay And Benefits The salary range for this position is $88,000.00 to $99,000.00 annually.
