Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 base salary with a discretionary bonus Role Overview:
Contribute to the design, configuration, and support of a global network infrastructure, working cross-functionally to optimize performance for latency-sensitive applications. Provide support and troubleshooting for a hybrid high-performance wired and wireless network environment. Apply a data-driven, automated approach to resolving complex infrastructure challenges such as micro-bursting, jitter, and queuing. Use scripting and automation tools to streamline network management, deployment, and maintenance processes. Lead global network projects from initial requirements through implementation and documentation. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in networking At least 1 year of experience with scripting Background in supporting large-scale global network environments Advanced knowledge of IP networking and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM) Experience with network hardware platforms (e.g., Cisco, Mellanox, Arista) Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred), version control (Git), and APIs (REST/JSON) Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) Experience with databases and data tools (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Splunk, InfluxDB, Grafana) Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Icinga, Splunk, Kapacitor) Strong Linux shell skills Excellent communication skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments Collaborative problem-solving mindset Consistent and reliable availability CCIE certification or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Demonstrated strategic thinking and maturity in addressing complex technical and organizational challenges
