Senior Network and Telecommunications Engineer
with at least 8 years of hands-on experience with multisite Cisco network infrastructure. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a hybrid on-site schedule (3 days a week) near Vauxhall, NJ. Responsibilities:
Manage Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, Fortinet firewalls, SD-WAN, Kemp load balancer, and wireless access points/controllers. Design, implement, and support network infrastructure and high availability network solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop network solutions. Research new technologies, develop documentation, and manage vendor relationships. Support, troubleshoot, and respond to network emergencies, including after-hours support. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 8+ years of experience in designing and supporting multisite network infrastructure. Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE) a plus. Experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Nexus, Catalyst, ISR routers, and related technologies. Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, VPNs, and network monitoring tools. Additional Information:
