JOB TITLE: Network Systems Manager Visa: Direct Hire, USC Rate: $140-$160k LOCATION: Irvine, CA (4-5 days onsite) could be flexible with maybe one day remote. Project Overview: This role reports into the CIO, This person needs a strong understanding of Help desk management, Network switch, firewall management and latest security protocols. Siem solution and soc center and solution required. A basic knowledge of networking, switch & fire wall management. Experience with MFA management, Security azure AD and 365 management. Ability to own network and security projects and work with outsourced teams to completion, Network architecture, Switches and Firewall configs (Meraki), EDR, XDR along with Global Support / IT helpdesk management, security posture hardening, Cybersecurity mindset Essential Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN). • Manage internet/intranet services (wired and wireless), including supporting hardware/software. • Perform network and system monitoring, fault detection, and proactive issue resolution. • Administer cyber security tools and policies (endpoint protection, phishing detection, malware prevention). • Develop and maintain network operational procedures and documentation. • Monitor and respond to system security threats and vulnerabilities. • Provide support during technology incidents and outages (on-call availability required). • Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies, and procedures. • Research and recommend new technologies to improve business operations and user experience. • Lead and execute network-related projects. Required Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). • 7–8 years of experience with firewall/network design (Fortinet, Sophos, Sonicwall), Cisco CLI, and SD-WAN/OSPF routing. • Strong knowledge of Azure public cloud, hybrid cloud, and colocation data center management. • Proficient in cybersecurity tools, risk assessment, MFA, password management. • Experience with disaster recovery and forensic tools. • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Layer 2/3 WAN/LAN/VLAN, IPsec VPNs, SIP, QoS. • Comfortable with Azure AD, G Suite, Okta, and identity/access management.
