Position Overview
The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in Los Angeles. The Keck School of Medicine of USC and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine seek an outstanding candidate for a full-time neuropathologist faculty position, with research, clinical, and teaching responsibilities, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level on the clinical track.
Responsibilities
- Clinical duties including pediatric neuropathology, brain tumor, and muscle biopsy sign-out.
- Engagement in teaching fellows, residents, and medical/graduate students.
- Participation in departmental and interdepartmental conferences.
- Research interests in developmental neuropathology and/or molecular pathology are a plus.
Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD degree.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
Compensation
Salary range: $250,000 - $350,000 annually. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and training.
