This role involves working collaboratively with Northside Hospital Leadership to oversee all operations, ensuring clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety, service excellence, and customer satisfaction. The position includes managing daily operations and supervising all employees within the assigned Physician Practice. Responsibilities include coordinating practice services such as patient access, scheduling, pre-authorization, chart management, nursing, procedures, and other functions. Ensuring compliance with departmental operational throughput goals is also key. Required Qualifications
Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) with at least three (3) years of management experience in business, nursing, or a healthcare-related field, OR Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program by CAAHEP or ABHES with at least three (3) years of management experience in business, nursing, or healthcare, OR Graduate of a US Military Medic course (AMRT/AARTS/CCAFS/ACE) with at least three (3) years of management experience in business, nursing, or healthcare. Current American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) Expertise in ambulatory/physician office practice flow, specialty-specific disease processes, in-office procedures, and patient education. Preferred Qualifications
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through ARMA or certified through AMT Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, sciences, public health, or related fields Minimum of three (3) years patient care experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice or ambulatory setting Experience with electronic medical records Additional Details
