100% FTE, Days. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on departmental needs. Work locations include the University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a
Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant
to: Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments for patients with hematologic abnormalities, cancers, and hereditary blood disorders or cancer predisposition syndromes. Perform evaluation and treatment procedures such as skin punch biopsies and bone marrow biopsies with or without conscious sedation. Follow patients longitudinally for early detection and prevention, especially those at increased risk of bone marrow failure or other cancers. Manage and conduct follow-up for patients with hematologic conditions like anemia and hemochromatosis. Education Requirements: Minimum: For Nurse Practitioners: Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Nursing Program. For Physician Assistants: Bachelor's or Master's from an accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum: For Nurse Practitioners: Active RN and APNP license in Wisconsin, with board certification as a Family NP. For Physician Assistants: Active PA license in Wisconsin and PA board certification. All applicants must have or be able to obtain a DEA license, and hold CPR and advanced life support certifications as applicable.
