Core Faculty OBGYN – Houston Methodist Willowbrook
Join us as a Core Faculty OBGYN at Houston Methodist Willowbrook .
Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to join the core faculty of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program, primarily based at the Willowbrook campus, with five residents per year and involvement of Texas A&M Medical Students in training activities. Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Prior administrative and academic preceptorship experience in graduate medical education is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily clinical needs for Obstetrics and Gynecology patients.
- Engage in direct patient care, teaching and supervising residents, and administrative duties.
- Serve as attending/faculty in the residency clinic supervising residents.
- Create an educational environment aligned with ACGME competency areas.
- Participate in clinical discussions, rounds, journal clubs, and conferences.
- Contribute to scholarly activities and quality improvement projects with residents.
- Share night and weekend call duties with other faculty and private practice physicians, with a minimum of one 14-hour weekday and one 24-hour weekend call per month.
