Job Description Job Title: Central Sterile Technician Profession: Central Sterile Technician Specialty: Central Sterile Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Level 1 hospital experience License: Not specified Certifications: Certified Sterile Processing Tech (from an accredited agency) Must-Have: Ability to work independently in various areas of sterile processing
Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Level 1 hospital experience. Certification from an accredited agency as a Sterile Processing Technician is required. Must be able to work independently in the following areas: Deco, Prep and Pack, Sterilization, and Case Carts. Experience in other accessory areas within Sterile Processing is necessary. The candidate must be adaptable and capable of working in a Level One Sterile Processing Trauma Hospital. Must be a team player, able to work collaboratively to complete trays for the operating room.
