Rhode Island Hospital, in partnership with Women & Infants Hospital, has an opening for a board-certified or eligible Ob/Gyn. With us, you will be able to practice evidence-based medicine while joining a strong, cohesive group with excellent administrative support and minimal call. Surgical cases are performed at Rhode Island Hospital and deliveries at Women & Infants. Your choice of one of four area outpatient clinics located just minutes from both hospitals, downtown Providence, and the greater Boston area.

About The Job
A collegial group consisting of 12 Obstetric Gynecologists, 9 Midwives, 5 Gyn-only providers, 3 ambulatory Gynecologists, 2 MIGS Surgeons, 2 Gyn-Oncologists, a Vaginal Surgeon and an experienced team of Nurse Practitioners and RNs Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team consisting of Maternal Fetal Medicine and OB Medicine (located at the same ambulatory site) A supportive leadership and administrative team including a dedicated MA, surgical coordinator and onsite behavioral health support 4-day work week (weekends excluded) Equal call (12hr shifts overnight)- Approximately 3-4 night shifts/month. 24hr shifts on holidays only 50/50 OB/Gyn practice Midwives provide obstetrical care and delivery to the low risk obstetric population Obstetrical medicine collaborates with our team of obstetricians to manage acute and or chronic medical conditions pre-pregnancy or during pregnancy and postpartum Providers manage both low and high-risk obstetric pains and treat a broad range of gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, ovarian pathology, and infertility Option to teach residents and medical students with a Brown academic appointment J1 & H1B friendly PSLF eligible

Completed a US-based OB/Gyn residency Board certified or eligible in OB/Gyn
