JOB OVERVIEW:

• EMR System: Epic HIMSS Stage VII.
• Specialty Backup: Nurse practitioner support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Support Staff: Collegial team of system physicians.

CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE:

• Board Requirements: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• DEA & Certifications: DEA, CSR required.
• Credentialing Timeline: 90120 days.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Board Status: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• State License Required: Eligibility for an Indiana medical license
• Certifications: DEA, CSR.
• Experience: Previous OB/Gyn or laborist experience preferred.
• Additional Requirements: EPIC proficiency, interest in collaborative patient-centered care.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care within an inpatient setting.
• Deliver and manage laboring patients and obstetric emergencies.
• Support gynecologic surgical procedures and consults.
• Collaborate with advanced practitioners and nursing staff.
• Document care accurately using EPIC EMR system.
