24/7 multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital Join an already established oncology service with an experienced boarded oncologist Separated treatment area for chemotherapy services, utilizes PhaSeal safety technology Specialty services include surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and critical care Strong teaching program including rotating interns, specialty interns, and surgical residents Diagnostic capabilities: complete in-house laboratory, digital radiography, on-site spiral CT and MRI, color flow Doppler ultrasound, portable ultrasound unit, and an oxygen cage system Outstanding opportunity to participate with the MARS Oncology Advisory Board Located approximately nine miles north of downtown Los Angeles The city is known for excellent schools, medical centers, retail shopping, and entertainment Outdoor adventures are abundant and the weather and climate are no match for hiking, cycling, water activities, beach and mountains. As a member of the VCA family, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including: Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Daily rate between $2,000 and $2,500 per 10 hrs. shift on a relief basis. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics About VCA
