Our Company is working closely with a Prestigious Public Listed organisation in Singapore. Due to our dynamic expansion in projects, we are looking for an experienced
System Project Manager
who are responsible to support hardware, software applications and middleware applications used in meteorological industry. The SPM will be involve in supervising installation, upgrading and daily maintenance of the application systems, mentoring the team to ensure that issues are rectified on time and meet the desired Service Level Agreement. He/She will engage with customers of all levels, as well as working as part of the Software team. Responsibilities Lead the team to provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve problem related to the meteorological services software systems. Constantly monitor and review the status of the operational issues raised on the maintained software systems to ensure that the operational issues are resolved or work-around way provided in accordance to the Service Level Agreement. Lead a team of IT Engineers in the preventive and corrective maintenance, implementation and upgrading of hardware, middleware and application software, when required. Change Management of new business requirement to the maintained Software System by coordinating with development team to identify possible application solutions that make the customer’s business more efficient and successful. Measure maintenance turnaround performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Manage the relationship with the Customers, internal management as well as third parties / vendors. Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create and maintain comprehensive maintenance and project documentations. Requirements At least
10 years
of experience in software maintenance or software development team, with
5 years
in leadership capacities in leading a team. Possess strong meteorological domain knowledge would be essential in the understanding of Customer’s business operation workflow and ability to recommend good business process or work-around ways to Customer when issue happened. Strong knowledge of system and software design, software development and implementation could aid in the software development and maintenance for this Project. Experience with database management will be an advantage. Experience with Information system troubleshooting. A strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills will be of extreme importance. Familiarity with Project management principles. Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Experience in leading and facilitating training to Team members and/or Customer Familiar with Agile development methodology Degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field
