The University of South Florida’s Division of Nephrology and Hypertension is seeking qualified physicians for the role of a clinician-educator in Nephrology.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Nephrology
Responsibilities:
- Teaching, patient care, and research in an academic health science center
- Involvement in acute and chronic hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, apheresis, peritoneal dialysis, vascular access placement, and inpatient care including ICU and outpatient clinics
- Work at two locations in Tampa, serving a diverse patient population
Team and Facilities:
- Team includes seven physicians, three advanced practice providers, and several MAs
- Inpatient locations include Tampa General Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center, with Tampa General ranked highly in several internal medicine specialties by USNWR
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an academic setting, especially in teaching and research
