About the Company: A top-rated hotel group based in the Charlottesville, Virginia area is seeking a Director of Sales to lead its sales and marketing efforts. About the Role: The qualified candidate will play a pivotal role in maximizing room revenue for its Charlottesville, Virginia, property. Responsibilities will include identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities within the Charlottesville market and this role will work closely with leadership to uncover new business prospects and nurture existing accounts to achieve our revenue goals. Responsibilities Identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities within the Charlottesville market. Working closely with leadership to uncover new business prospects. Nurturing existing accounts to achieve revenue goals. Qualifications 3-5 years of hotel sales experience Solid budget management skills including forecasting, file balancing, auditing, research, and segment sales reviews. Knowledge of hotel operations, competitive set rates, property positioning, promotional offers, and packaging. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Sales CRM, etc. Required Skills Direct experience with some or all of the following hotel sales categories: Business Travel Sales Government Transient and Group Sales Corporate, Social, Tour, and Travel Group Sales Preferred Skills Qualified candidates must be willing to reside near the Charlottesville, VA area. Pay range and compensation package Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Base salary with up to 35% bonus potential, Comprehensive Health Insurance, 401k, PTO, Sick Pay, and much more!
