Senior DataStage Administrator (w/ Good DataStage Administration, Some DataStage Development, Mid-Tier Infrastructure Support, Production Support and Unix Exp.)

Position Type: W2-Hybrid Onsite Contract - (***Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote work in a week!!!) Location(s):Either Charlotte, NC 28202/ Plano, TX 75024 Duration: 12-18 Months Contract (LONG-TERM)

Experience Level: Min. 7-8 Years

Job Description: Client is urgently looking to hire a DataStage Administration with Some DataStage Development exp., Kafka Messaging tool, Mid-Tier Infra Activities, Dev or Prod Support for awareness/Shared Services.

Infra Support Exp.: Need someone who is good with Software install & Patching, Connectivity & Integration, Server & System Management/Security & Access Control.. etc. Work with IT teams to define the infrastructure and system requirements to support Information Server DataStage environment on zLinux * Understanding and experience with InfoSphere products in a zLinux environment a must * Experience in identifying set of standards for configuration settings for DataStage performance management; optimization of disk space and memory allocation in the environment * Installation /Upgrade InfoSphere Products such as DataStage and others related products such as Data Masking and Classic Federation * Configure, tune, and maintain DataStage application instances and supporting underlying database and OS environments. * Set up the projects, roles, users, privileges in different environments (DEV, QA, PROD). * Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the DataStage. * Available for on-call support for Production related issues * Provide migration support and automation procedure MUST HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Hourly Pay Rate Range*: Between $63.00/hr - $65.00/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
