They are seeking a Database Administrator (Journeyman) to support production issues, fine-tune database configurations, and manage Oracle Database-related activities. Responsibilities: Support resolution of issues with production transaction and interface files fine-tuning database indexes and storage configurations, patches, and version upgrades Supporting configuration and administrative activities related to Oracle Database, ZFS, LVM, and Exadata Qualifications: Required: 4+ years experience in database administration principles and practical experience. Strong understanding of database concepts, including relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and database design. Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Experience with Oracle DBMS. Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash. Shift - Day - schema management, backups, patching. Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as Oracle Cloud Database, AWS RDS, and Azure SQL Database. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
