Pay Rate:$90/hr
About the Role
A major client is embarking on a complex Oracle EBS implementation, and we’re searching for a Senior Oracle Functional Consultant to lead initiatives across Projects and Financials modules. You’ll play a client-facing, advisory-level role, bridging business needs with ERP best practices in the government accounting space.
This is a highly visible role that will involve strategic collaboration, hands-on configuration, stakeholder communication, and functional leadership across multiple Oracle workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation and configuration across Oracle Projects Suite (capital, contract, and internal projects)
Provide functional support for Oracle Financials Suite:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management
Design and implement Chart of Accounts, calendar structures, currency configs, and financial reporting
Support intercompany accounting, consolidations, automated journals, and close cycles (month/quarter/year-end)
Collaborate directly with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to guide ERP transformation
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for financial and project accounting within Oracle EBS
Offer strategic advice and lead sessions with internal client teams to align Oracle functionality with operational needs
Required Qualifications
15+ years of Oracle EBS experience across Projects and Financials
Proven hands-on configuration and leadership in:
Capital & Contract Projects
GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Mgmt.
Multi-org setups, currency config, consolidations
Financial reporting and process optimization
Experience implementing ERP for government accounting
Strong functional understanding of Oracle EBS table structures and ability to write basic SQL queries
Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Experience
Background in Defense Contracting or GovCon
Comfortable with light technical tasks: SQL queries, data validation, debugging
Strong business acumen and consulting presence
