Join our team as a Forklift Operator and play a vital role in our outbound operations. You will operate fork trucks and stock pickers safely and efficiently, ensuring that our orders are processed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process all outbound orders using forklift or stock picker.
- Stock and organize rack merchandise, ensuring racks are set up to fill orders accurately.
- Manage surplus inventory from zones to maintain order fulfillment.
- Perform additional tasks using fork trucks as needed.
- Replenish outgoing totes as necessary to maintain workflow.
- Maintain mezzanine zones and assist with organizational tasks.
- Uphold safety standards, proactively identifying unsafe practices and conditions.
- Experienced team members may help train new hires, ensuring they understand job duties and any procedural changes.
- Complete any other assigned duties to support team operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of forklift operations and power equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse processes and inventory locations.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Aptitude for quickly and accurately reading and matching numbers and letters.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience with various types of power equipment.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, with Spanish being highly desirable.
