Programmer/Analyst Job Purpose:
The Programmer/Analyst is responsible for developing, testing, and implementing engineering applications and other software at Sanmina PCB facilities. The candidate will collaborate with regional IT and business managers and users to provide solutions that meet the company's information needs and business objectives. Projects may focus on productivity improvement, cost reduction, total cost of ownership reduction through better system architecture, and/or compliance enhancement.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor in technology, solutions development, and process improvement. Collaboration across functions is essential to support project execution. Regular reporting on project progress and status to project management is also expected.
Nature of Duties:
InCAM Pro/GenFlex/Genesis Automation
InPlan/InPlanFlex Rules Development
InSight system administration
Collaborate with plant, business, and IT to achieve company goals
Recommend operational improvements and assist users in preparing business specifications
Support CAM, InPlan/InPlanFlex, InSight, and other PCB engineering applications
Provide data and report availability to business units
Configure 42Q devices
Work with project management to maintain standard governance and ensure adherence to the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or 5 years of PCB programming/scripting experience
Experience with Linux/Unix, HP-UX, system security controls, and MS Windows
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with strong data analysis capabilities
Experience with Perl, C-shell scripting, C, and API
Knowledge of CAD/CAM, PCB manufacturing, InPlan/InPlanFlex rules development, web-based applications
Knowledge of Java Scripting, PHP, Oracle SQL, MySQL is advantageous

Salary Range (annual): $80,000 - $100,000
