The Opportunity: Ravello & In-Room Dining Production Cook 3
We are looking for an individual who can provide culinary support in for our In-Room Dining and Ravello departments. The Cook 3 is our entry-level culinary position. The candidate must be able to maintain a clean and organized workstation. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and able to work and thrive within a large team is a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, show flexibility, and be available when extensive work hours are required. Responsibilities:
Cook, prepare, and present items according to proper recipes, portion sizes, and chef's specifications. Check for superior quality, preparation, cooking times, correct doneness, consistency, firmness, temperatures, and presentation of every food item. Check the freshness of food and ingredients before cooking. Follow a preparation list and update if needed. Communicate properly with cooks and chefs. Be able to sort true food, grading, washing, peeling, cutting, mixing, cooking, freezing, and packaging. Minimum Qualifications:
Attention to detail, good communication skills Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, large team environment Flexible and available when extensive work hours are required At least 1 year of culinary experience A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays.
