New Tech Global is seeking an Automation Engineer for a manufacturing company in NJ on a contract basis.
The Temporary Automation Engineer in NJ designs, programs, and improves automated machinery and processes within the plant. This person will use technology to improve, streamline, and automate manufacturing processes to reduce the need for human intervention and maximize efficiency. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with their team and demonstrate the companies values of accountability, teamwork, and integrity.
Main Responsibilities Analyzing and troubleshooting problems in automated systems. Conducting regular maintenance and inspections of automation equipment. Providing training and support for operators and maintenance personnel. Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Managing and documenting all automation-related activities and projects. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a closely related technical field. Five years minimum experience in automation, programming, and controls. Knowledge of automation software, industrial computer networks, and programmable logic controllers X skill or experience. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Technical skills/computer skills
