We’re seeking a Palantir Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize solutions leveraging Palantir Foundry and its suite of offerings. In this role, you will work directly on integrating, customizing, and extending our Foundry stack to deliver mission-critical insights and data-driven decision support to our users. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with our overall technology stack. What You'll Do
Palantir Platform Development & Integration Develop custom solutions and integrations within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem to address challenges in defense logistics. Leverage Palantir Foundry applications, plugins, and data processing pipelines to enhance our capabilities. Build and maintain secure APIs and data services that connect Palantir Foundry with other core systems. Support the AI/ML team by leveraging Foundry AIP to deliver accurate data insights. Data Processing & Pipeline Optimization Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Pipeline Builder for structured, unstructured, real-time, and batch data. Ensure high performance, data integrity, and scalability of data workflows within Foundry. Uphold data quality, security, and compliance in handling sensitive defense logistics data. Deployment & Operations Monitor and maintain Palantir-driven services through logging, alerting, and performance tuning. Develop and support automated deployment pipelines for continuous improvement. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work with backend, AI/ML, and product teams to integrate Palantir solutions into broader architectures. Participate in code reviews, establish coding standards, and document solutions. Support onboarding and professional growth of team members in Palantir development. What We’re Looking For
Strong Technical Background Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, understanding its architecture and applications. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Typescript. Experience in data integration, transformation, and API development. Cloud & Infrastructure Experience Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with software testing methodologies. Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code. Problem-solving & Communication Skills Ability to debug and optimize complex systems. Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. Growth Mindset Passion for continuous learning and mentoring others. Bonus Points
Experience integrating Palantir Foundry with AI/ML models. Background in defense or logistics industries, especially legacy system modernization. Contributions to open-source projects or engagement with the Palantir developer community. Why Gallatin?
