Primary Responsibilities
Purpose of Job: Works with Village Fresh to support customer technologies at the Marfa location (State Hwy 17, Marfa, TX). This position will work with IT staff to support technology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain hardware, software, equipment and tools.
- Install, service, and support desktop computers and other systems.
- Provide user application support and training.
- Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
Supervision: direct supervision from Andy Konidaris, VP of IT with Village Fresh for day to day instruction. Andy Konidaris will also act as the Mentor within the Lobo Explore STEM Internship Program.
STEM Internship Program:
This position is part of the Title III STEM Lobo Track to Success (LTS) SRSU STEM Internship Program. Along with the normal job duties, the student will learn from the faculty supervisor about the STEM workforce, different career pathways, research, and more. Students will gain knowledge, experience, and professional connections in the STEM field. Students will have access to professional development tools throughout the internship program (resume building, interview practices, etc.).
