Location: Health Science Center The Clinical Instructor will be a clinical resource person for the Surgical Technology students and will be responsible for clinical evaluations.
Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing Surgical Technologist within the past 5 years. Certified Surgical Technologist or Tech in Surgery - Certified. Credentials must be in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Verification of vaccination requirements as specified by the CDC guidelines for healthcare providers. Current CPR certification and Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider, both certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association. Availability to work one or two days per week from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, as scheduled not to exceed 20 hours per week; clinical schedule varies based on program schedule.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
Shift: Varies
Salary Schedule: Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
Hiring Range: $35 per hour
