Overview
We also oversee 2 van services for student transportation needs: Accessible Educational Van Services and IU Ride. Our department is a small team with impact on all campuses.
Job Summary Picks up and drops off students and staff who have been pre-qualified for van service access using minivans and wheelchair accessible vans. Completes pickup and drop off times and at locations, which are dispatched to drivers via TransLoc on Demand software with ride schedules. Cleans vehicles, provides shuttle services to staff, or transports other vehicle types to various locations as assigned. Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED). LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Required
Possess a valid United States driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University upon date of hire. OTHER
Required
20 years old to drive. SKILLS

Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Proficient communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Maintains a high degree of professionalism. Demonstrates a high commitment to quality. Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Friendly and service-oriented. This role requires stationary positioning for long periods of time. It also requires a valid United States driver's license and the ability to be insured by Indiana University. This role requires moving objects up to 50 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential tasks with or without accommodation.
