As a new Part-Time Weekend Valet Trash Collector at Recycle NOW, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collecting trash from designated locations in apartment complexes and ensuring proper disposal. You'll begin your shifts on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 PM, working until the tasks are completed. You'll need to communicate effectively with your supervisor while effectively managing the waste collection. Attention to detail is crucial, as you'll be responsible for ensuring that all trash is collected efficiently, maintaining cleanliness in the areas you service. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs, as accessing some units will involve going up and down steps. A pickup truck is essential for transporting the trash to the compactor or dumpster, ensuring efficient and quick disposal. Additionally, having a smartphone will help you communicate with management effectively, and manage any logistical tasks. Working in all weather conditions is a must, so adaptability and resilience are key traits for this role. Attention to detail will help you maintain a tidy environment, enhancing residents' experience in their community. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: This position requires you collect bagged trash from the doorsteps of your assigned apartment community on Friday and Saturday night starting at 8PM. You will take the bagged trash to the compactor or dumpster and ensure the area stays tidy. You must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
