Northland Community and Technical College seeks a temporary-part time Computer System Networking Instructor dedicated to excellence in teaching, who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. This position will work on the East Grand Forks Campus. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives. Part-time faculty salaries are based on an evaluation of education and related experience after a job offer has been accepted. Please note, initial step placement is limited per the MSCF contract. This will differ from the maximum salary range in this posting. Associate Degree in a computer or information technology field Occupational Experience Requirement
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in networking, network administration, cybersecurity, or forensics. One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years. (Procedure 3.32.1 College Faculty Credentialing, Part 5, Subpart B.2) **This course shall be waived for individuals who, at the time of hire, have documented evidence of successful completion of equivalent coursework. Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field Have a minimum of two years' experience teaching. Coursework in teaching pedagogies and preparation in principled and methods of evaluation. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population. Be knowledgeable about methods of instruction, testing and evaluation of students. Demonstrated ability to teach using technology in the classroom and/or online course delivery. Other Requirements
