Overview
Continuing Education (CE) offers a variety of courses and non-credit programs designed to respond to the diverse educational interests and lifelong learning needs of individuals of all ages. We offer certificate, credential exam preparation and licensure programs, workforce training professional development, and personal enrichment. The Department of Education and Leadership provides a quality education in a caring environment for the adult student population with undergraduate and graduate programs offered at locations including Miami Shores, off-campus satellite sites, and online. Continuing Education is seeking adjunct faculty to add to our roster for assignments on an as-needed basis for the following programs: Montessori Early Childhood CE Certificate and MS in Curriculum and Instruction- Montessori Early Childhood Specialization. Instructors will educate, train and provide professional development in the Montessori EC CE Certificate program. Courses are delivered in several formats including asynchronous/online, hybrid, and face-to-face. This is a hybrid position. Please note

completion of Barry University's Online Instructor training will be required. Essential Functions
Create/implement course curriculum and exams, activities, assignments, and student assessment(s) directly related to learning objectives Plan and deliver engaging and interactive instructional sessions Assess the progress and performance of students and provide feedback Provide technical and student support Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Consult with respective Program Director(s) in the development and execution of the course(s) Qualifications/Requirements
