Registered Pharmacist In Charge
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a
Registered Pharmacist In Charge
to fill an opening with a top-rated healthcare employer dedicated to optimizing outcomes and providing a high-touch caring experience to all patients in
Salem, VA.
Daily Responsibilities for the Registered Pharmacist In Charge:
Fill prescriptions, monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and security of drugs, including controlled substances/narcotics
Provide patient counseling and discuss challenges to medication adherence
Complete scheduling of technicians and support sales and goals of pharmacy department
Shift : As the Pharmacist Leader, they will have the autonomy to create their own schedule | As the leader, needs to be flexible! | Must be willing to work every other weekend Weekdays - Open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Weekends - Open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 - 5 on Sundays
Required qualifications for the Registered Pharmacist In Charge:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
Retail Pharmacy experience
Preferred qualifications for the Registered Pharmacist In Charge:
Relevant Pharmacy Board Certification(s)
Equivalent combination of education and experience in business management
