About The Role
The Payroll Administrator leads the biweekly payroll process and related administration with support from the Corporate Accounting Manager. The role also involves collaborating with the HR team for tasks that cross between HR and Payroll.
Key Responsibilities
Review employee timecards and time off reporting for accuracy
Process biweekly payroll according to schedule
Support allocation of payroll to various entities
Respond to employee inquiries and escalate as needed
Manage Payroll Service Desk tickets and assist with HR tickets
Update timecard system in Paycor for changes
Research payroll tax updates in Paycor
Update union wages, prepare reports, and handle discrepancies
Coordinate wage garnishments and child support orders
Distribute W-2s and fulfill reporting obligations
Prepare payroll budgets and forecasts
Respond to payroll audit questions and alert management of issues
Maintain knowledge of payroll practices and legal updates
Perform other related tasks as assigned
About You
3-5 years of payroll administration experience, Paycor preferred
Knowledge of GAAP
College degree preferred
Certified Payroll Professional or similar preferred
Ability to work with urgency and accuracy
Experience handling sensitive information
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong administrative and data management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe; advanced in Excel and Paycor
Periodic overtime may be required
