Job Description Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: Permanent Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: State licensure required Certifications: ARRT Certification required
Must-Have: Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing. Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all individuals.
Description: Serve over 7,500 care facilities nationwide. Enjoy a great working environment and developmental training. Feel accomplished at the end of the day. Explore opportunities for personal promotion and skill refinement. Benefit from excellent benefits and supportive coworkers. Experience autonomy with a variety of patients and job security. Participate in a great team that supports you. Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes and health care facilities. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit and transmit X-Rays to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and perform exams as ordered by the physician. Ensure clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol. Communicate regularly with dispatch and management. Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment.
Physical demands include the ability to push/pull anywhere from 50 to 100 lbs. Weight requirements may decrease with the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys. Expect to push/pull equipment in facilities or homes, which may increase the weight. Use 50 lbs of force or more occasionally throughout the day.
