Permanent Pediatric Neurologist Position Type: Permanent

Position Details: Patient Population: Pediatric patients
Setting: Hospital, Inpatient & Outpatient
Responsibilities:
Provide care for pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient services
Participate in resident and medical student education
Interpret EEG and sleep studies (optional)
Opportunity for research and academic pursuits
Serve a large geographic region with a vast primary care referral network
Required Procedures: EEG interpretation (optional)
EMR System: TBD
Support Staff: Full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists
Days Per Month: TBD
On-Call/Weekends: Favorable call schedule
Submission Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology - REQUIRED
Fellowship-trained (to be completed before start) - REQUIRED
Active MI license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
Controlled Substance License CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
Interest and experience in scholarly activities - REQUIRED
