A brand-new two-photon microscope is ready to drive discovery-and we're looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our NIH-funded research program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Our lab investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurovascular dysfunction and neuroinflammation, with a focus on translating basic discoveries into therapeutic insights.Our current work centers on the role of pericytes in blood-brain barrier integrity and cerebral blood flow regulation, particularly in the context of Alzheimer's disease and sepsis.
