Senior Mechanical Engineer
to support our growing power generation market, develop natural gas and renewable energy projects, and serve as Engineer of Record or Owner’s Engineer. Preferred locations include: Austin, Ann Arbor, Boise, Bismarck, Billings, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Fort Worth, Houston, Honolulu, Kansas City, Madison, Minneapolis, Missoula, Omaha, Phoenix, Portland, Richmond, Raleigh, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Spokane, St Louis, Syracuse. Responsibilities include leading mechanical teams, coordinating with disciplines, monitoring project status, and supporting detailed design and owner’s engineer projects. Experience with utility-scale power systems, including simple cycle, combined cycle, and RICE projects, is preferred. Qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university Minimum 15 years in power generation design Experience with turbines and power systems Proven leadership in design projects Experience with power generation equipment and systems Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to mentor and manage multiple projects Required: Bachelor’s in Engineering At least 10 years of relevant experience PE license Experience in power sector project execution Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit HDR is committed to diversity and inclusion.
