JOB DESCRIPTION
ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer-Intermediate (Applications Programmer - Intermediate) to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Applications Programmer will work with a team of Intermediate and Senior Developers to build, support, and maintain automated business applications and data visualization tools using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI).
The role involves end-to-end development within the Army 365 environment and focuses on transforming business processes through application development, workflow automation, and reporting dashboards. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure technical governance, troubleshoot platform issues, and provide documentation and training materials aligned with mission needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and sustain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas & Model-Driven Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Design and implement automated workflows and notification logic for customer business processes Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI Coordinate with stakeholders to define functional requirements and deliver technical solutions Ensure consistent branding and design across applications and dashboards Monitor and troubleshoot issues submitted through the ACC CIO/G6 ticketing system within required timelines Prepare end-user documentation and training materials; conduct knowledge transfers and live demos Contribute to ACC portal governance efforts to enforce development standards and usability best practices Draft and maintain technical documentation for solution sustainment and continuity Leverage Agile practices and iterative development to ensure quick delivery and refinement of solutions Stay informed on Microsoft 365 platform updates and apply modern development frameworks and best practices REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development or workflow automation roles Experience with: Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) Power Automate (flows, logic apps) Power BI (dashboards, visuals, DAX) Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Project, and Visio Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage directly with end users PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting Army 365 or DoD enterprise Power Platform environments Familiarity with Dataverse, Microsoft Lists, or external data integrations Understanding of Agile methodologies or DevSecOps principles Experience participating in governance boards or centers of excellence (COEs) CLEARANCE LEVEL
SECRET Clearance EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution CERTIFICATION
Certification in Power Platform (e.g., PL-100, PL-400) or related Microsoft credentials preferred, not required. Security+ Required WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
