Job Summary
Qualifications: Early Childhood Education degree or Human Environmental Science degree with concentration in early childhood development or child development or Special Education degree in early childhood with a minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/child development Essential Duties: Plan and teach lessons Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with state early learning standards Assess student progress using assessment tools like GOLD to monitor and document student growth Maintain a safe engaging classroom Create a well-organized, inclusive learning environment that meets OSR standards Engage families Communicate regularly with families and support their involvement in classroom activities Participate in professional development Complete required training hours and collaborate with staff to improve instructional practices Perform other duties as assigned by the principal Note: This position is funded by a grant. Therefore, tenure cannot be gained in this position.
