This 13-week assignment offers 8-hour day shifts in a dynamic perioperative setting, providing pre-op and post-op care to surgical patients. Ideal candidates are confident, compassionate, and experienced in both preoperative prep and PACU recovery care. Job Details Location: Midland, MI Setting: Hospital Pre/Post-Op Unit Discipline: Registered Nurse Shift: 5x8s | Day Shift | 40 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension EMR: Epic Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients throughout the perioperative process Administer medications, perform treatments, and respond to call lights and alarms Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and collaborate on updates Process and carry out provider orders accurately and in a timely manner Follow up on medication adjustments and clarify provider directives as needed Ensure safe transfers and deliver high-quality, compassionate care Qualifications Required: Active Michigan RN license or compact license BLS and ACLS (AHA) Minimum 2 years of recent pre/post-op RN experience Preferred: PACU training or recovery room experience Previous travel nursing experience Why Travel with Sunbelt?
