We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cerritos, California. This full-time position offers a regular weekday schedule and requires the flexibility to travel to nearby clinics as needed for business purposes. The ideal candidate will have experience or certification in nephrology, along with a strong background in caring for adult and geriatric patients in Primary Care or Internal Medicine settings. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized and general health care to adult and elderly patients, with a focus on nephrology Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and manage chronic diseases Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and therapies Educate patients and families about kidney disease management, prevention, and wellness Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care Accurately and promptly document patient encounters in the electronic medical record Travel to other clinic locations as required Required Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, or a combination of education and experience that meets role requirements Current, unrestricted RN and NP license in the State of California Active Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (AANP or ANCC) Certification in nephrology or minimum 1 year of experience in nephrology practice Preferred Skills and Experience: Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience working in Primary Care or Internal Medicine settings Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $140,000 – $190,000, commensurate with experience Bonus eligible Full benefits package, including health, dental, vision, retirement contributions, and paid time off Why Join Us?
