Base pay range
$70.00/hr - $80.00/hr Title: Full Stack .Net Developer Duration: Contract to hire Pay: $70-$80/hour W2 Job Description: We are seeking a highly technical and motivated Full Stack .NET Developer to join our SBS Retirement Services team. In this role, you will primarily focus on backend development (70–80%) while contributing across the full stack using .NET, SQL, and React (Angular is also acceptable). You will play a critical role in building a high-volume API mechanism that supports large-scale vendor data transactions—comparable to the volume of transactions at companies like Amazon. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using .NET, SQL, and React (or Angular) Build and test RESTful APIs, ensuring performance, security, and reliability Contribute to architecture planning, code reviews, and engineering best practices Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand technical challenges and develop robust solutions Work on projects involving mainframe modernization (conceptual understanding sufficient) Engineer solutions that scale to accommodate extremely high volumes of data transactions Demonstrate initiative in solving complex problems and anticipating project bottlenecks Understand system limitations and proactively plan scalable, maintainable solutions Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on .NET and SQL Proficiency in React or Angular Strong experience building and testing APIs in high-transaction environments Conceptual understanding of mainframe systems and modernization efforts Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with architecture and scalability planning in complex systems Ability to work independently, conduct code reviews, and be a self-starter in fast-paced teams Nice to Have: Experience in high-scale transactional systems Familiarity with vendor integration and enterprise-scale data movement Seniority level
