3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Position: SAP FICA Consultant Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months Under minimal supervision, responsible for all aspects of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) related to SAP Configuration activities. Must have FULL FICA experience with multiple years in utility projects. Minimum of 8 years of experience required. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Implements software solutions requiring in-depth configuration and integration; interacts with vendor resources and integrates applications with complex interfaces based on provided specifications. Participates in application development and support teams, and project teams under the guidance of Lead SAP Configurator, Manager, or Project Managers. Acts as Technical Lead on projects; may lead multiple projects concurrently. Serves as subject matter expert in multiple business units, including project and support assignments. Mentors and guides junior staff, develops and promotes standard practices, collaborates with Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners to develop software specifications. Maintains technical skills, participates in standard practice development, supports SDLC phases including documentation, estimates, design, development, and implementation, reviewing junior staff deliverables. Liaises with business partners for analysis and design efforts for future enhancements and configuration to meet changing policies and legislative requirements. Stays current with industry trends, applies key technologies, and coordinates system changes including requirements gathering, testing, training, and implementation. Participates in business process modeling, develops analysis documentation, and supports the creation of business procedures. Develops strong business and system knowledge, supports logical data and business process models, and provides input on technology strategies. Provides training and oversight to staff and contractors to ensure quality. Contributes to development, growth, and mentoring of SAP Configurators. Performs budget, forecast, and project financials management. SUPERVISION No direct supervision, but may oversee junior or contract resources in absence of a manager or lead. Licenses/Certifications Required: At least one SAP professional configuration certification (e.g., CRM, DM, Billing/Invoicing, FICA, FI/CO, HCM, HR/PY, SC). Preference for additional certifications. Experience Minimum of 8 years SAP configuration experience in systems analysis, design, and development, with 10 years specifically in FICA and Billing/Invoicing. Strong knowledge of business software, hardware technologies, and industry trends. Implementation experience with SAP FICA, including integration with billing and CRM, data modeling, and billing & invoicing experience. Understanding of FI-CA functionality, setup of main and sub-transactions, and issue analysis in billing and invoicing. Detailed configuration experience in FI-CA components: Dunning, Payments, Settlement, Refunds, Security Deposits, BRF+ Dunning, Lifecycle of open items, Tax, Batch jobs, Interface to payment gateways, Org and GL setup. Experience with invoice layout and billing print, data models, and integration with other functional areas. Ability to conduct workshops, work with solution architects, and prepare design documents. Experience with business processes in ISU Data models, device management configurations, and leading device management solutions. Familiarity with project methodologies like ASAP and Agile, and ability to perform requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and issue resolution. Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand project plans, articulate roles and goals, and develop project plans for small and large projects. Proficiency with technical design, development tools, and agile methodologies; Scrum Master role experience preferred. Experience reviewing and facilitating AMS deliverables and meetings. Preferred: Drive continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, support, and architecture.
