Project Controls Manager
to be based on-site in the Tucson, AZ area. The objective of this role is to ensure the project remains on track to achieve desired schedule and budget outcomes. You will proactively engage with the project team to forecast deviations and develop mitigations. The Project Controls Manager should be a subject matter expert in at least one core project control service (e.g., Cost Control, Scheduling, Risk Management). This position involves working on large-scale data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Project Controls services including capital planning, project governance, front-end planning, project funding, setup, construction technology, procure-to-pay, cost & commercial management, schedule control, risk management, and project close-out.
Support the delivery of portfolios, programs, and projects.
Assist in developing the client’s capital plan and updates by providing cash flow and accrual information.
Facilitate funding processes by consolidating information into a comprehensive funding request document.
Work closely with clients to set up project systems and coding, and communicate requirements effectively.
Provide relevant reports and information to enable effective governance.
Support the operation of construction technology, ensuring smooth information flow for efficient project execution.
Develop project sourcing strategies and establish procure-to-pay structures.
Forecast and influence project outcomes proactively.
Review and analyze schedule development to influence project results.
Identify and develop risk mitigation plans.
Ensure the effective closure of projects, including financial activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain attendance during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required:

Preferred Education and Experience:
BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
4+ years of relevant post-undergraduate experience.
Experience working on data center projects is preferred.
