SAP America, Inc. seeks a Cyber Security Design Sr. Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to work across SAP security program to design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve security processes and supporting cybersecurity tools. Areas of focus include infrastructure (e.g. network), system, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), and application security. The Security Engineer Senior Specialist will lead development and implementation of security solutions in alignment with security strategy. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the applicable area of focus. Analyze trends and emerging technologies for potential program modernization. Develop, implement, integrate, and operate tools to support detection, prevention, analysis, and resolution of security threats, as applicable to area of focus. Ensure documentation and socialization of technical specifications/diagrams, including security plans, configurations, and process workflows for change management, patch management, and lifecycle management. Ensure data hygiene, quality assurance, and adherence to the data strategy. Develop system concepts and apply the systems engineering life cycle to translate strategic cyber objectives, technology, and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Describe and develop SIEM signatures, as applicable. Provide expertise in deployment of new solutions, including tools and services developed by COTS (commercial off the shelf). Evaluate existing network systems (as applicable) to plan/implement resources required to expand service levels; proactively use forecasting and data trends to manage growth. Assess technologies across the enterprise to onboard new log source data, as applicable. Ensure that regular backup and recovery exercises are performed. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must involve three (3) years in the following: Identifying Security Vulnerabilities and Performing Security Vulnerability Assessment; Java, HTML5, C#, Python, or JavaScript; Security Management with Tenable, Shodan, or Feedly; Security Engineering; IT Security; Cloud Computing; and Application and Infrastructure Security.
