Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer - Chatsworth, CA Our company is a leading supplier of various antennas to premiere commercial and defense companies. Due to strong demand and continued growth for our innovative, high-performance products, we are looking for qualified individuals to join our engineering team. The successful Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer will be responsible for designing PCBs from initial stages through to the completed output process. Responsibilities include performing PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards, generating fabrication and assembly drawings, working from preliminary schematics, part lists, basic descriptions of the board functions, configurations, arrangements, and capturing schematics from napkin drawings as defined by engineering. Salary Range: $100,000 to $105,000 per year Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Experience: Experience with Altium Designer is strongly preferred, along with software scripting for use in Altium Designer. Must have experience with high-density/high-speed design, signal integrity techniques, low noise design, EMI/EMC minimization, RF and split analog/digital designs, thermal reduction, and designing for harsh, high-vibration environments. Experience with Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Testability, as well as ECAD libraries and configuration management, is also required. Skills: Strong work ethic, drive to succeed, effective teamwork, good communication skills, and experience with both MIL-STD and commercial components are desirable.
