Overview FWI is building a team to provide highly skilled information technology engineering subject-matter expert support services to support, implement, operate, maintain, and enhance the technologies within the IRS Enterprise Operations (EOPS) Network Engineering business unit. As a Cloud Engineer, you will support multi-cloud environment initiatives, managing cloud architecture, implementation, and Infrastructure as Code deployments across public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms. Position is contingent upon contract award** Work Schedule and Location: On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday,8am to 5pm at the IRS ECC office in Ogden, UT. Responsibilities Provide Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployments, updates, and maintenance of cloud environments Support on-boarding and migrations of projects/applications in cloud environments Manage IPv6 implementation with multi-cloud deployments Provide engineering support within IRS's multiple cloud service providers Implement cloud security measures and ensure compliance with federal requirements Optimize cloud hosting infrastructures using virtualization, automation, and orchestration technologies Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect OR VoIP or Wireless certifications Minimum of five years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation Proven expertise in managing and deploying cloud-based systems across public, private, and hybrid environments Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible Experience with cloud security, cost optimization, and high availability architectures FWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
