Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr A renowned Private Equity firm in Chicago, the largest pure buy-out firm in the world with a legendary reputation in the technology investing space, is looking to hire an Fund Associate due to continued growth and strong performance. This role will be responsible for managing tax compliance tasks, overseeing financial statements, and assisting with accounting for general partners and funds. The firm offers 100% covered benefits, a 401(k), $150 per month towards a gym membership, a stocked kitchen, catered lunches, and many firm-wide events. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office. Job Function Review tax filings, K-1s, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage financial statements, monitor cash flow, and support various ad hoc projects. Assist with GP and fund-level accounting responsibilities. Contribute to additional areas of the business as the firm continues to grow and expand its operations. Job Requirements 3+ Years of experience in Tax (Partnership focus) in Public Accounting, Big 4 preferred. CPA - Completed or in-process, required. Asset Management (Private Equity, Hedge Fund and/or Fund of Fund) industry experience - highly preferred.
