Comp: From $90,000-$105,000/yr

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Distributed Control System (DCS) Engineer direct hire position in Baltimore, MD
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and support automation solutions using ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCS), with a strong emphasis on the 800xA platform.
- Support system integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities across various automation projects.
- Build and test Human-Machine Interface (HMI) graphics and alarm handling functions within the ABB DCS environment.
- Conduct and document Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures.
- Lead or assist in the commissioning and startup of DCS systems at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, both remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients across multiple disciplines.
- 3-5+ years of experience in ABB DCS platforms (800xA)
- HMI development
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical and instrumentation
- Ability to travel, mostly day travel, around the Baltimore, MD area
- Understanding of communication protocols
