The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, administration, and management of assigned program(s) within Northwestern Community Services Board (NWCSB). This position oversees service delivery, ensures program compliance, supervises staff, and represents the Agency at regional, state, and community levels. Each NWCSB Program Manager focuses on a specific population or service area, such as adult mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, children, youth, and family services, rehabilitation, community treatment, or substance use programs, while maintaining core managerial responsibilities. Program-specific details are tailored to meet the needs of the individuals served by each program. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human services A mix of education and experience that shows the necessary skills and knowledge for a program management role in a medium to large behavioral health organization Experience in a public behavioral health, private provider, or managed care organization or working in a community services board’s complex regulatory environment An eagerness to invest in one’s community through service. Must possess a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and the ability to provide own transportation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in human services Virginia Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) eligibility Virginia Licensed Mental Health Professional as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Clinical Psychologist preferred. At least three years of supervisory experience At least eight (8) years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: May be exposed to allergenic environments from client’s homes, including extreme heat, humidity, dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc. May be exposed to clients with infectious diseases Must be able to drive for long periods of time to visit clients in and out of the catchment area as needed Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at times SALARY:
